May 2020 News Letter: May's COVID Update

With state and local officials downgrading the overall risk assessment for the transmission of COVID-19 from high to moderate, Columbus Secure Shredding is entering the next phase of its response to the virus.

Here are a few of our updated protocols:

  • Drop off services at our plant remain suspended until at least May 15 - please call ahead after the 15th to check our status.

  • We will no longer be contacting customers the day before servicing to confirm their status. Customers that have not already been placed on an “on-call” status must contact CSS to request that a servicing be skipped in order to avoid an unable to service fee.

  • We will continue to switch customers to an “on-call” status without penalty if we are informed that a location is closed.

  • We will begin contacting customers who have been placed on an “on-call” status to determine when we can restart servicing. CSS may change pickup dates to accommodate new servicing schedules.

  • Drivers have been provided with PPE and are encouraged to wash hands frequently.

Please check our blog at www.columbusshredding.com/blog for any updates. We thank you for your understanding during this time.
